On September 27, 2025, the prestigious premises of the Carpathian Branch of the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute (PIG-PIB) in Kraków hosted the inaugural Congress of Members of the Tunnel Mining Association (SGT) – an event opening a new chapter in the cooperation between the mining and tunnel construction communities in Poland.
The meeting brought together key industry representatives: experts, scientists, and companies actively participating in the development of modern tunnel technologies. It provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss the future of the sector, and establish common directions for action in support of innovation, safety, and sustainable development.
